The nurse is assessing a client with a head injury with signs and symptoms of syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone (SIADH). Which findings are expected? Select all that apply.
Syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone (SIADH) causes increased water absorption by the renal system. This leads to dilutional hyponatremia (i.e., decreased serum Na+) and decreased serum osmolality (i.e., less than 50 mOsm/Kg H20). As ADH continues to be secreted, decreased urine output (i.e., oliguria) occurs thus even more water is retained by the body. This leads to an elevated urine specific gravity (greater than 1.030).

How much does NCLEX-RN prep cost?
Three options. Monthly access is $60 a month and can be cancelled any time. The 90-Day Pass is $139 once, no auto-renewal, which is about $46 a month. One-time purchases can be paid in installments through Shop Pay.
How many hours a day do I need to study?
Build toward 40–100 questions on a normal study day and pick the pace that fits your life: about two hours a day if you are working, about three if you are part-time, up to five for accelerated full-time prep. The plan runs five days a week, not seven, and question blocks are twenty items long, so it fits around a shift.
What is the difference between the Game Plan and the smart study plan?
The NCLEX Game Plan is a structured 4-, 6- or 8-week schedule with a printable tracker, included with every NCLEX-RN plan.
